Conneaut Lake Bridal Shower Brunch April 23, 2015

On Sunday March 15, 2015, at the Iroquois Club in Conneaut Lake, 65 guests attended a bridal shower for bride-to-be Lauren Longstreth. The Iroquois Club (http://www.iroquoisfishingclub.com) was built in the late 1800s and is often selected for its Victorian charm, onsite catering team, and beautiful views of Conneaut Lake. Helping out was Hello Productions’ event coordinator Natasha Eger.

As the guests were arriving, they stopped at the mimosa bar to create their own champagne beverage with their choice of fruit juice and mixed berry skewers.

After playing a few games such as “who has the groom” and “the best advice for the newlyweds,” brunch was served. This brunch included a delicious selection of quiches, pastries and sandwiches put together by the Iroquois Club.

Before the guests left, they ate their delicious pieces of cake made by the bride’s aunt and enjoyed the self-serve candy bar.

With a beautiful view of Conneaut Lake and the glowing beauty of the bride, it was truly a day to remember!

Favorite Wedding Venues in Meadville, Conneaut Lake, & Erie March 20, 2015

Hello Production’s newest event planner, Natasha, is handling wedding and events in the Meadville/Erie area and we asked her to clue us in on some of her favorite wedding venues.

If you’re looking for a wedding venue in the Meadville, Conneaut Lake, and Erie, PA, areas, there are quite a few to choose from! Here are some of my personal favorites.

Hotel Conneaut is a venue for any event. It is charming with a touch of history as it is located in the historical Conneaut Lake Park in Conneaut Lake, PA! There is a spacious ballroom and a beautiful wrap-around porch which makes for amazing photographs. There are two ballrooms for your events at this venue, both which are newly remodeled but still have the unique old world architecture. In addition to the indoor ballrooms, there is a large lawn which overlooks the beautiful Conneaut Lake. There is also a pier that extends out over the lake which makes for an amazing ceremony site!

If you are considering having an event in the Meadville area, The Meadville Country Club could potentially be the perfect choice for you for any type of event. This venue is a wonderful place to hold a special ceremony overlooking The Country Club’s golf course. Your cocktail hour can easily be followed by continuing outside to a tented reception on the lawn or indoors in their ballroom! The staff is very friendly and easy to work with. The Executive Chef, Shaun Alcorn, will cater delicious culinary cuisine and a premier dining experience that all of your guests will be talking about for weeks!

Heading farther North to Erie, there are a wider variety of venues. One of my absolute favorites is the Erie Bayfront Sheraton Hotel. Here you can have your reverie event with a breathtaking view in the Harlequin Ballroom. This ballroom is elegant with its navy blue and silver color scheme that flows with the nautical feel of the Bayfront Sheraton décor. Large glass windows scale on all sides giving natural light to the ballroom and a view of the city with docked sailboats to be admired. This upscale venue is a dream for any event or wedding! Your guests can enjoy their evening and follow up with a comfortable stay here where overnight accommodations are available.

If you interested in more of an intimate event with a serene view, charm of rustic ambiance, and lovely grounds then Quincy Wine Cellars could possibly be the venue for you. Located in Ripley, New York, this venue is a premier winery and banquet facility. The lofted barn venue is a blank canvas that can be transformed to your perfect event! There is a covered deck that extends from the main space which has spectacular
views of the Vineyards.

Choosing a venue is a difficult decision for any event. Finding your perfect venue is like finding “the dress” – when you know, you know and it is meant to be!
